Chair of Trustees: Ian Hetherington Kenneth Scott M.A., M.Chir., F.R.C.S.
Mr Scott was a founding Trustee. He served in the Royal Army Medical Corps as a doctor and as a trainee surgeon in Germany and Northern Ireland. Upon completion of training he was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Ipswich Hospital. When the Hospital became an NHS Trust, he was appointed as Medical Director, a post which he held from 1993 to 2008. He was one of the earliest members of the British Association of Medical Managers. In 2004, he became the Clinical Lead for Hospital Doctors for the NHS National Programme for IT and established and chaired the Risk Management Board for the clinical side of the Programme.
He was elected a parent governor at Broke Hall School in 2008, and after four years as Chair of Personnel, now serves as Chair of Governors. Mr Scott is fully retired from medical practice.

Chief Executive Officer and Ex-Officio Board Member: Daniel Jones BA (Hons), National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership
Daniel Jones was CEO when the Trust founded and has overseen the growth of the Trust from two to seven schools. Previously, he taught in three Inner City London Boroughs and has held leadership positions including headteacher in three Suffolk schools.
Daniel was instrumental in Springfield Juniors being awarded the National Pupil Premium Award (2017). He has spoken at many events, written blogs, led training and worked strategically with numerous schools nationally on this subject. In January 2018, Daniel visited Singapore as part of the British Council and Singapore Ministry of Education in ‘Building Educational Bridges’ project and co-wrote a chapter in the subsequent report on the maths curriculum for Nick Gibb, the Schools Minister. In 2020, Daniel made a series of films for Discovery Education and the National Association of Headteachers focused on the challenge of closing the attainment gap.

Vice Chair of Trustees: Simon Ayres
Simon Ayres was co-opted to the Trust Board in October 2019. He attended Broke Hall School, then Copleston High School and has lived in East Ipswich all his life. He was elected as a parent governor at Clifford Road Primary School in 2014 and served as chair of governors at Clifford Road from 2016 until late 2018.
Simon is a mechanical building services consulting engineer and in 2014 formed a mechanical and electrical consultancy company, Flamestone Ltd, which provides design consultancy to many commercial sectors including pharmaceutical, banking/corporate, healthcare, leisure and education. Flamestone has received regular government support for research and development activity undertaken. Prior to starting Flamestone, he co-owned and managed a long established mechanical contracting company, Cooper & Brome Contracts since 2009.
Simon is dedicated to improving the outcomes of all pupils within the Children’s Endeavour Trust, and in giving pupils across Suffolk the core skills required for modern life and to fulfil their potential. Outside work and trustee responsibilities, Simon enjoys running, walking his dog and is an EASA qualified pilot.

Camille Nickson (B.A.Hons) FCIPD
Camille Nickson was coopted on to Joined the board in July 2021. Camille was previously the Director of HR and Operations Bursar for seven schools over seventeen sites in Cambridge.
Camille has worked in the state and private education sector for over 30 years providing advice and guidance to Governing Bodies, CEOs and Headteachers. Camille has a wealth of experience in organizational development and HR strategy. In addition to running her own consultancy business, she is currently working with Suffolk County Council within their skills and talent team. Camille has lived in Suffolk for 30 years and has a genuine interest in educational strategy and the development of future generations along with a keen interest in wellbeing in children and adults.

Benjamin Palmer FCCA
Ben Palmer joined the Board in September 2020. He has lived in the Ipswich area throughout his life, training and qualifying professionally in finance whilst working at Scrutton Bland, Ipswich. Ben has a wealth of experience originally as an auditor, later working within a range of people businesses including the fitness, commercial radio and frontier research sectors at board level. Currently employed as Director of Finance at St Joseph's College in Ipswich, he is excited about the creation of successful team environments, supporting positive engagement with financial structures to maximise understanding and opportunities, alongside the proactive development of staff and young people in the area.
Father to two daughters, as well as being a keen golfer and cyclist, commitment, persistence and resilience are regular running themes in Ben's life.

Amanda Timcke
Amanda Timcke joined the Trust Board in May 2020 following the expansion of the Trust. She has been a governor of Chilton Primary School in Stowmarket since 2013.
Professionally, Amanda is a qualified solicitor, working in the Commercial Property team of the Ipswich office of Birketts LLP. She is also the Deputy Vice President and Education & Training Officer for the Suffolk and North Essex Law Society. She is dedicated to the expansion of opportunities for pupils to have the best possible outcomes in their education and careers.

David White Advanced Dip ED (Cambridge)
David White was a founding Trustee. He was a Primary School Headteacher for almost 30 years in Northamptonshire, Bromley and Suffolk. Following this, he worked as an Educational Consultant with Local Education Authorities, and also as an Ofsted Inspector so has viewed the education system from a range of positions.
Dedicated to improving practice and maximising pupils’ attainment, David took part in various research programmes for the development of Children's Language and Writing Skills.
Previously a governor at Springfield Junior School, he is a keen Rotarian and a volunteer worker with Tools with a Mission in Uganda (TWAM) dedicating a large chunk of his time to supporting others.
